The gift that I have been given, is called Seer prophecy. I am mostly visual, so I am mostly a seer, although I have been able recieve messages also. My ears are very sensory sensitive. It is has been mostly mainly visual. I don't really care what it is called, it's just something that was given to me by God and I don't want to look up the details of how it all works, not many do this with a beautiful gift given to me. I try and a live my life normally with it and not study myself or observe myself as such. A big part of the reason this was done for protection needed in my life under the grace of God.
A prophet means that someone proclaims a divine message from God. There are different streams Seer versus Nabi-Nabi prophets sometimes sees visions as Seer prophets sometimes but regularly and dominantly Nabi prophets receives inspiration from the Holy Spirit and prophesy to people spontaneously and verbally while Seer prophets receives pictures and visions before prophesying.
May be this might help some people understand a bit more how it works for me. I can get closed eye and open eye visions which I did in the ministry serving God at church at 17.
It has mostly been dormant though my gift and the manfestation resides with me and it has been mostly dormant post 17 like I have
described and working on more of a protective level. God has poured into this when he has wanted to in my lifetime post 17 for my own surivial and journey. We have a good God. I am nothing but an empty hallow vessel from dust and God remains everything and the true light as well.
God has been guiding me since I was a teenager through my life challenges with chronic health difficulties and autism he has held onto me as well.
There is information in the Bible
about people in the body being able to be caught up to third heaven (2 Corinthians 12:2). Also, the Old Testament has reference
to Seer's (1 Samuel 9:9). The gift of prophecy is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
